How Box IPTV Works

Before You Begin

To use Box IPTV, you will need two things:

• An Android device (phone, tablet, or Android TV) running Android 5.0 or higher.
• An active IPTV subscription or a valid M3U/M3U8 playlist URL from your provider.

Note: Box IPTV does not provide any channels or content. It is a player app only. You must have your own playlist from a legitimate IPTV provider.

Step 1: Install the App

1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
2. Search for Box IPTV or tap the direct link from our website.
3. Tap Install and wait for the download to complete.
4. Open the app once installation finishes.

Step 2: Add Your Playlist

When you first open Box IPTV, you will see an option to add a playlist. You have two methods:

Method A: URL Link

1. Tap Add Playlist on the home screen.
2. Select Enter URL.
3. Paste your M3U or M3U8 playlist link provided by your IPTV service.
4. Optionally, give your playlist a custom name (for example, "Home IPTV").
5. Tap Save. The app will fetch and parse your channels.

Method B: Local File

1. Tap Add Playlist.
2. Select Upload File.
3. Browse to the M3U file stored on your device.
4. Tap Save to import the channels.

Step 3: Organize and Browse

Once your playlist is loaded, Box IPTV automatically organizes channels by categories (if provided in the playlist). You can:

• Browse channels by category using the sidebar or tabs.
• Use the Search bar to quickly find a specific channel.
• Mark channels as Favorites for quick access.
• View the EPG (Electronic Program Guide) to see current and upcoming shows.

Step 4: Start Watching

1. Tap any channel from the list.
2. The player will load the stream. Most channels start within a few seconds.
3. Use the on-screen controls to switch to full-screen, change aspect ratio, or adjust volume.
4. Swipe left or right on the player to switch to the next or previous channel quickly.

Step 5: Advanced Settings

Tap the Settings gear icon to customize your experience:

• Player: Choose your preferred decoder (hardware or software) for better compatibility.
• Parental Control: Lock specific categories with a PIN code.
• Theme: Switch between light and dark modes.
• External Player: Optionally open streams in VLC or MX Player if needed.

Tips for the Best Experience

• Use a stable Wi-Fi connection for HD and 4K streams.
• Keep your playlist URL handy in case you need to re-add it after reinstalling the app.
• Regularly update Box IPTV from the Play Store for the latest features and fixes.
• If a channel does not load, try switching the decoder in Settings.
